Clinical Trials Data Coordination - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26004616)
This Research Specialist position primarily provides general, responsible research support and assistance for research
projects.
Primary activities:
- Providing protocol and form development support to study project directors
- Data entry
- Accessing databases to generate reports and support to committee chairs.
- Providing research support on grants and papers.
- Providing research support to data analysts.
- Administrative support to study leadership and admin support to research project leadership (maintain filing system,
organize meetings, perform data entry and process university paperwork).
The individual will be expected to be highly self-motivated and actively involved in ensuring productivity for new
and existing projects and study investigators. The position requires flexibility, the ability to multitask, excellent time
management skills and computer proficiency.
Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff. Ensures adherence to protocols and corrects issues with data collection.
Essential Functions

Ability to handle advanced problems appropriately.
Ability to work autonomously with guidance and direction from leadership.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Hiring Range: $22.51 - $30.30 per hour
