What We’re Looking For:

  • Select, validate, and run predetermined robotic weld programs; make authorized adjustments to welding parameters (voltage, wire feed speed, travel speed) to optimize cycle performance.
  • Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to verify correct part fit-up and alignment; perform visual and dimensional inspections on finished components using precision measuring tools.
  • Identify automated weld anomalies (e.g., porosity, undercut, or misaligned seams); execute manual touch-ups, rework, or metal finishing on parts when necessary.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on robotic arms, nozzles, and sensors (such as tip changes or nozzle cleaning) to prevent downtime.
  • Partner with Welding Engineering, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot program glitches and improve workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of traditional welding processes (GMAW/MIG preferred) to evaluate weld pool aesthetics and penetration.
  • Prior experience operating CNC machinery, industrial cobots, or robotic welding interfaces (e.g., Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, or IGM) is highly desirable.
  • Strong capability to interpret complex manufacturing drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • Excellent mechanical troubleshooting abilities to diagnose if a defect stems from a program error, a fixture displacement, or a material variance.
  • Ability to safely lift manufacturing components and work comfortably alongside automated industrial cells.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation, biannual increases & bonuses
  • Benefits-Health, Dental, & Vision
  • Employer Paid Benefits-Life & Disability
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
