Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Educator RN for the Develop Innovation & Research department at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BSN required; MSN preferred
• National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and / or clinical specialty preferred
• Recent Emergency Department experience (at least 3 years within the past 5 years)
• Strong clinical skills in Emergency Services

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

• Mentoring and supporting new staff
• Assists with Annual Competencies
• Projects, as assigned
• Presents various programs
• Integral part of the interview team
• Support Education department, as needed
