Nordstern Group of Companies, includes Custom Castings, Protek Surface Technologies, Forte Tooling Technologies, and Sure Cast Aluminum Foundry. Nordstern Group of Companies is a vertically integrated group of companies specializing in aluminum and zinc manufacturing, offering end-to-end metal casting and tooling solutions.

We are currently seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team! Our team manages the information systems and provides IT support and cybersecurity for our group of growing manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the IT Scrum Team.
    • Network and Systems Administration.
    • Microsoft 365 and Active Directory Administration.
    • IT asset management.
    • Diagnose and solve network/computer/software issues.
    • Work with end users to address their requests/problems in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Participate in Cybersecurity program development.
    • Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, XDR, patch management, and SIEM.
    • Participate in the administration of network security policies, access control and corporate data safeguards.
    • Participate in the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team.
    • Travel to other locations (occasional)

      • Windows Server 2019
      • Active Directory
      • Microsoft 365
      • SonicWall routers and VPN networks
      • Command Prompt
      • Virtual Machines
