Westwood Professional Services, Inc.

Become an intern with the Westwood Planning team, focused on developing solutions in the built environment for public sector clients. In this position, you'll engage in collaborative projects with professionals from diverse disciplines such as landscape architects, planners, architects, and engineers, working on a range of projects at different scales.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member;

• Work with project teams to modify documents and drawings with detailed instructions regarding tasks and expected results;

• Assist in generating project deliverables, including content for plans, policy documents and reports;

• Use knowledge of the general concepts of planning and design including site analysis, project theming, schematic design and design development;

• Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with project managers and other team members;

• Prepare and coordinate activities on assigned projects, including coordination with other technical disciplines; and

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Currently a college or graduate student working to obtain a degree from an accredited college or university in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, public policy or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Prior office and/or field experience
