Sun City Lincoln Hills is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and engaging Arts and Crafts Instructor to lead fun, educational, and hands-on classes for our active adult community.
If you enjoy teaching, inspiring others, and helping students explore their artistic talents through a variety of mediums, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As an Arts and Crafts Instructor, you will create and lead engaging classes that encourage creativity, self-expression, and skill development.
Responsibilities Include:
• Plan and teach arts and crafts classes for beginner through advanced skill
levels.
• Create lesson plans, class projects, and instructional materials.
• Teach a variety of artistic disciplines, including:
Painting
Drawing
Ceramics
Glass art
Fiber and needle arts
Paper crafts
Jewelry making
Woodworking
Photography
Mixed media
Digital art and more
• Demonstrate techniques and provide step-by-step instruction.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor the safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare and organize class supplies and workspaces.
• Track attendance and maintain basic class records.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students.
• Assist with special events, showcases, workshops, and exhibitions.
• Promote classes and help grow participation within the community.
• Attend instructor meetings as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and guests.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Minimum six (6) months of experience teaching arts, crafts, or related creative
programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Creative, patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style.
Certification Requirements
• Current Adult CPR/AED Certification, or
• Ability to obtain certification within the first six (6) months of employment.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including:
• Days
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Holidays, as needed
*Additional Compensation- $10.00 for ever student that is enrolled after the first 4 students.
