Job Description
SnapLogic is the only Agentic Integration and Applied AI Platform — a secure, AI-powered orchestration and integration backbone for the modern, agentic enterprise. It seamlessly unifies applications, data, and people to orchestrate smart workflows, deploy AI agents, and safely govern AI execution across your entire ecosystem.
Our mission is to power the agentic enterprise by accelerating business value, unifying human intelligence with every app, system, and AI agent on a trusted, governed platform. We believe every company will become an agentic enterprise by securely connecting applications, data, workflows, and fragmented intelligence to accelerate business outcomes.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at SnapLogic, you will be a trusted technical advisor to our customers on their AI journey. Working alongside our Director, AI Center of Excellence, you will bring a value-first mindset and genuine comfort operating in the ambiguity inherent to most enterprises.
This role centers on helping customers understand where SnapLogic fits to deliver real business outcomes — and proving it. You will build a deep understanding of a customer's landscape to uncover pilot use cases that demonstrate measurable value against clear KPIs, while identifying expansion opportunities that grow our footprint over time.
Partnering closely with our Enterprise Account teams — spanning both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales — to guide customers from an ambiguous idea of what's possible, through a proven pilot, to sustained adoption. Because AI capability sits on a spectrum you will clearly present the benefits and trade-offs of various approaches, operating as a peer to senior leaders and executives to ensure they make confident, well-informed strategic decisions.
- Identify Opportunities: Partner with customers to build a deep understanding of how their business and uncovers high-value AI use case opportunities.
- Build Momentum: Demonstrate progress early and often through iterative prototyping, showing value well before a solution is finalized.
- Drive Execution Consensus: Lead high-stakes briefings, effectively translating complex AI concepts (like agentic architectures) into strategic business imperatives, ROI, and risk mitigation.
- Prove Value: Support the account team in building compelling business cases and eliciting the baseline KPIs needed to prove success.
- Translate Complexity: Navigate complex enterprise matrices to align diverse stakeholders - from hands-on engineers to C-suite executives - around a shared technical vision.
- Uncover Friction: Bring genuine curiosity to every engagement, asking the questions that reveal operational inefficiencies others miss
- Apply Best Practices: Bring industry AI judgement into customer conversations, including prompt engineering, LLM selection, tool design, and cost control.
- Shape the Product: Feed learnings from the field back to our internal teams to shape SnapLogic's product roadmap.
- Create Playbooks: Recognize recurring deployment patterns and share them with the wider team to make successful approaches repeatable.
- Stay Cutting-Edge: Maintain deep, current knowledge of the latest developments in AI
- Evangelize SnapLogic: Help customers understand our capabilities — including data, application integration, MCP, and agentic workflow orchestration — and where each drives value.
- Experience in a customer-facing, hands-on advisory role e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Field CTO, or a similar hands-on advisory role working with enterprise customers.
- Exceptional executive presence, with the gravitas to tactfully challenge assumptions, guide C-level decision-making, and command a room.
- A track record of building working prototypes and solutions under ambiguity, without waiting for fully specified requirements.
- Experience with enterprise data and application integration, and an interest in how orchestration and agentic workflows fit into that landscape
- Solid understanding of AI/LLM concepts, including prompt engineering, governance, model selection, tool/function design, and cost to performance trade-offs.
- An understanding of how AI governance and compliance requirements are evolving, and what that means for how solutions get designed and deployed
- Genuine excitement for the current shift in AI and want to be hands-on in shaping how enterprises adapt.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to move fluidly between deep technical discussions and executive-level business-value conversations.
- A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to coordinate across Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver outcomes.
- Curiosity and empathy for how businesses actually operate and the people navigating change inside them.
- Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript/Node.js) for rapidly building and iterating on AI prototypes.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Prior experience with enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS).
- Experience deploying AI or software solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
