The Manager, Strategic Initiatives will work closely with senior leadership to drive execution across high-priority strategic initiatives and business objectives. This role combines project management, executive communication, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced professional services environment. The position plays a critical role in maintaining momentum across strategic projects, identifying risks, and ensuring commitments are followed through. You will help leadership stay focused on the highest-impact priorities while improving operating rhythms and organizational effectiveness. This is a hands-on opportunity for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional who thrives in environments where priorities evolve quickly.

Accountabilities
  • Develop, edit, and maintain executive-level presentations, dashboards, reports, briefing materials, and communications for leadership meetings, strategic initiatives, and firmwide forums.
  • Translate complex operational, financial, and strategic information into concise, compelling narratives that support executive awareness and decision-making.
  • Track strategic projects, actions, deadlines, commitments, dependencies, and open issues, proactively identifying risks, delays, and matters requiring escalation.
  • Provide project-management support for high-priority initiatives by developing roadmaps, monitoring milestones, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining clear status reporting.
  • Triage competing priorities and help leadership remain focused on the highest-impact activities while coordinating closely with administrative partners on calendars and follow-ups.
  • Lead change management activities for key initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, adoption tracking, and implementation follow-through.
  • Maintain visibility into business performance and strategic priorities by analyzing operational and financial data, identifying trends, and surfacing risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, templates, and operating rhythms that improve consistency, transparency, and organizational efficiency.
  • Own agenda development, pre-read preparation, presentation materials, and follow-up activities for leadership meetings, annual offsites, and Town Halls.
  • Capture clear meeting notes, decisions, ownership, and next steps to ensure accountability and consistent follow-through.
  • Serve as a central coordination point across teams, facilitating accurate and timely information flow between senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization and influence outcomes through strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
  • 6–8 years of experience in strategic initiatives, strategy consulting, executive project management, or a similar role within a high-performance professional services environment such as consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or another rigorous setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with senior executives and successfully driving cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including executive-level presentation development, data analysis, dashboards, and storytelling.
  • Strong experience producing status reports, program updates, executive dashboards, and other decision-support materials.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and dependencies simultaneously.
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion, with the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, incomplete information, sensitive matters, and changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into clear insights, options, recommendations, and actions.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft and edit executive-level communications and create compelling business narratives.
  • Highly proactive and action-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility and influence without formal authority.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, anticipate potential challenges, and proactively surface issues before they become obstacles.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of approximately $140,000–$190,000, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
  • Discretionary performance-based bonus with potential for additional earnings.
  • 401(k) benefits.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits package.
  • Wellness program supporting employee well-being.
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives.
  • Exposure to complex business challenges across a high-performance professional services environment.
  • Opportunities to contribute to organizational change, operational improvement, and long-term strategic priorities.
