Employee Benefits and Leave Coordinator

Full-time (37.5 hours); Exempt

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually

Hybrid-eligible after one (1) year.

Broad Function:

The Employee Benefits and Leave Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Organization’s employee benefit and leave programs. This position serves as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and federal, state, and organizational leave programs. The Coordinator works closely with third-party administrators, benefit vendors, payroll, Human Resources, and management to ensure accurate administration, timely communication, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits, leave administration, Human Resources, or a closely related area required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs and applicable federal and New York State leave requirements.
• Experience working with HRIS and benefit administration systems required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience administering benefits and leaves in a healthcare or unionized environment preferred.
