Job Description
Location: Bentonville, AR (On-site)
Department: Merchandise Operations – Gelmart Division
Reports To: Director of Planning & Replenishment
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior CPFR Manager to lead Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment for our Walmart apparel business. This fully on-site role in Bentonville will own forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, and replenishment health across a multi-million-dollar portfolio — and will serve as the day-to-day CPFR point of contact with the Walmart Planning, Replenishment, and Merchant organizations.
This person will act as a player-coach: setting the CPFR strategy for the account, mentoring a CPFR Manager, and personally driving the highest-visibility categories, seasonal launches, and modular resets. Success in this role means fewer stockouts, cleaner inventory positions, tighter forecast accuracy, and a Walmart merchandising team that trusts our numbers.
Key ResponsibilitiesForecasting & Demand Planning- Own the SKU/store-level demand forecast for the Walmart intimate apparel business, including base, promotional, seasonal, and new-item volume.
- Reconcile top-down financial plans with bottom-up item-level forecasts and defend the reconciled view to Sales, Finance, and Sourcing.
- Improve forecast accuracy through better use of Retail Link, NOVA, and Scintilla data.
- Manage weekly replenishment health for the account: in-stock %, weeks of supply, lost sales, on-hand quality, and store-level distortion.
- Partner directly with Walmart Replenishment Managers on min/max, model stock, service-level, and lead-time settings; escalate systemic issues into the merchant conversation with data, not opinion.
- Drive corrective action on aged, distressed, or over-forecasted inventory in partnership with Sales, Merchandising, and the DC/logistics team.
- Continuously improve the Gelmart CPFR operating rhythm: weekly business review, monthly forecast lock, seasonal load plan, modular reset support, and event playbooks.
- Build and maintain dashboards that combine customer and supplier data to give Sales, Finance, and leadership a single source of truth on business performance and where we are winning and losing.
- Partner with the Advanced Analytics & Automation team to automate repetitive CPFR workflows and reduce manual data assembly.
- Present performance to Gelmart senior leadership and to Walmart counterparts with credibility and clarity.
- 7+ years of experience in CPFR, Demand Planning, or Replenishment supporting a mass retailer, with multiple years directly supporting Walmart.
- Multiple years of experience in apparel preferred (intimate apparel, basics, or seasonal apparel a strong plus).
- Required systems fluency: Retail Link, NOVA, Scintilla, and Power BI.
- Proven track record improving forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, and inventory productivity for a private-brand or national-brand apparel business.
- Experience managing or mentoring CPFR/Replenishment analysts or managers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex replenishment and forecast data into clear, actionable recommendations for Sales and executive leadership.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills; comfortable in Walmart merchant and replenishment meetings.
- Willing and able to work on-site in Bentonville, AR full-time.
- Prior Walmart supplier experience in apparel, softlines, or intimates.
- Experience with modular resets, seasonal load plans, and new-item launches at Walmart.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI and automation, and a track record of using them to reduce manual CPFR workload.
