This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Therapist Enrollment Associate – Physical Therapy based in the United States.
This is a fully remote operations role supporting the enrollment and credentialing of physical therapists across insurance networks and partner organizations.
You will manage enrollment workflows from application preparation and submission through approval and activation.
The role combines administrative coordination, data management, payer communication, and compliance-focused documentation.
You will work closely with therapists, insurance carriers, and internal teams to keep enrollment processes accurate and on schedule.
Your attention to detail will directly help therapists become eligible to serve insured patients.

Review therapist enrollment information and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with payer requirements.
Prepare, submit, and track standard enrollment applications, provider rosters, demographic updates, re-credentialing requests, and termination requests within established timelines.
Validate provider and practice information, including NPI details, practice locations, tax information, and state licenses.
Manage assigned enrollment files from initial submission through approval, conducting routine follow-ups with insurance carriers and other external partners.
Identify and resolve routine enrollment issues and escalate complex, nonstandard, or high-risk barriers to enrollment leadership.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate therapist, payer, clinic, and effective-date information in internal databases and systems.
Maintain complete records of application submissions, payer communications, status changes, outstanding requirements, and approvals.
Communicate clearly and professionally with therapists, insurance carriers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support timely enrollment completion.
Collaborate with Credentialing, Onboarding, and Partner Success teams to provide a coordinated therapist activation experience.
Monitor operational metrics and productivity expectations while contributing ideas that improve enrollment workflows, documentation, and efficiency.
Typically less than one year of experience in healthcare administration, credentialing, enrollment, operations, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with therapists, payers, partners, and internal teams.
Ability to follow established procedures, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet productivity and turnaround-time expectations.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify routine enrollment barriers and recognize when an issue requires escalation.
Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and other digital management systems.
Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a fully remote environment.
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced operational setting where priorities and workloads may change.
Commitment to maintaining accurate, compliant, and confidential healthcare-related information.
Must reside in an eligible U.S. state for employment. Current eligible locations include AR, KY, MS, SC, Norfolk VA, Virginia Beach VA, WV, AL, FL, GA, ID, MI, MO, IN, NJ, OH, TX (excluding Houston), TN, and WI.
$18–$21 per hour, with compensation based on geographic zone and experience.
Full-time, fully remote position.
