Virtual Grant Writer (Recovery/Mental Health)

And we’re looking for a Virtual Grant Writer (Recovery/Mental Health) to start immediately!

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Grant Research: Actively search for and identify grants related to recovery, mental illness, addiction, and community support.

  • Opportunity Matching: Find specific funding opportunities that align with client’s planned project.

  • Grant Writing: Write and tailor compelling grant applications according to the specific requirements of each funder.

  • Voice Matching: Draft all materials in client’s personal voice and style so it sounds authentic and genuine, strictly avoiding AI-generated content.


Required Tools

  • Browsed Grant research websites and databases


Qualifications:

  • Expert-level grant writer with 5+ years of experience, ideally with a background in healthcare, recovery services, mental health, or church/ministry.

  • Advanced reading, comprehension, and written English. The VA must be able to write persuasively, accurately, and tailor applications to match the client’s specific voice.

  • Professional English communication for onboarding and project alignment.

  • Strong ability to independently research and identify relevant grants using grant research websites and databases.

  • Must write genuine, original content.


Technical Requirements:

  • USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature

  • Working Webcam

  • Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM

  • Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection

  • Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps

Schedule: 2 PM – 6 PM EST Eastern Standard Time (EST) | 20 hours per week, Part-time

Location: 100% Remote

Salary Package: Up to 25K/month
