Job Type: Temporary.
Pay Range: $40 to $50 hourly.
The role of the Full Vehicle Technician is to support increased garage workload by diagnosing and repairing prototype vehicle electrical and mechanical systems; fabricating or modifying prototype components and fixtures; maintaining detailed work records; supporting instrumentation and test-equipment installation; and test-driving prototype vehicles. Maintain close communication with the Garage Manager and lead technicians regarding workload, personnel, equipment issues, and needs.
Requirements:- 7+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Experience working with electric and hybrid vehicles (required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Understanding of zonal vehicle architecture
- High-voltage electrical knowledge and training
- Working knowledge of CAN and LIN communication networks
- Experience with fabrication and instrumentation
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) and tow training preferred
