We are currently searching for a Title Clerk who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking, and motivated to join our team.

Position Summary

Position: Title Clerk,

Classification: Full Time; Non-Exempt

Reports To: Controller

Work Location: In person, Huntsville, TX

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• Review vehicle titles for accuracy and completeness to include VIN, odometer reading and release of liens
• Verify acceptance of title in state for which it is filed
• Confirm negotiability of title document and report any title discrepancies
• Interact with customers, dealers and representatives of regulatory agencies in resolution of title issues
• Maintain current knowledge of DMV regulations regarding vehicle titles for each state in which vehicles are processed
• Pay drafts for incoming titles on bank payable draft lists
• Other Duties May be assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team.

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:

• Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screening
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable based on driving record.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Dealership Title Processing (1 year minimum)
• CDK Experience Preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods
