Fibertek is seeking an HVAC technician to work alongside other facilities maintenance professionals supporting the U.S. Army’s Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate at Fort Belvoir, VA. The Facilities team supports specialized labs, offices and buildings to ensure that RTI can develop technology and engineering solutions for the US military.

Essential Job Duties:

• Installs, services, inspects, maintains and repairs heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and related environmental-control systems.

Experience and Expertise Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Appropriate HVAC licensing.
• 10 or more years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this position is $35-$50/hour. This range reflects the compensation Fibertek reasonably expects to offer for this role. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education and training, key skills, and relevant market and business considerations.
