About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting the logistics, coordination and delivery of our comprehensive CPD programme for the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC), which involves liaison with trainers and stakeholders, contributing to event planning, reviewing content, analysing and reporting data and feedback and ensuring that each and every session, course or event runs smoothly and fulfils its objectives through appropriate planning, promotion and follow-up. A typical day in this role might include webinar hosting/moderation, proofreading and branding of event content, onboarding speakers, arranging international travel, liaising with trainers and suppliers, supporting data extraction, and working closely with colleagues to plan and deliver upcoming CPD. This role will be based in Goodwood, Cape Town, reporting into the Senior Academic Lead, Professional Learning and Curriculum in the UK.

What you will do:

  • Support the team with the organisation and coordination of digital CPD events, including scheduling, pre-event set-up, creation of promotional collateral, webinar platform training, presentation branding, event moderation and event follow up.
  • Support the team with the organisation and coordination of face-to-face CPD events, including scheduling, pre-event set-up, creation of promotional collateral, travel booking, venue and catering logistics, speaker liaison, presentation branding and event follow up.
  • Extensive data management including extraction, validation and analysis of event data across multiple platforms with suggestions for ongoing event and process improvements as necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with an extensive network of internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include colleagues from customer success, product, sales, marketing and events teams within Oxford International Education alongside central functions such as compliance and finance. External stakeholders include trainers, training partners, curriculum coordinators and conference and school host venues.
  • Manage the contracting and onboarding of freelancer trainers, curriculum authors and suppliers in line with OUP guidelines.
  • Process and manage payments for freelance trainers, venues and travel ensuring overheads spend is accurately monitored.
  • Support the management of asynchronous CPD as required, encouraging user engagement in our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Provide systems support for the Oxford International Curriculum and International Events teams, promoting best practice for systems and processes.

About you

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a flair for data and systems
  • Excellent administrative and organisation skills with good spoken and written English and robust proofreading abilities
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work on own initiative
  • Experience of data manipulation and analysis, and confident use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working in a busy events role

Advantageous:

  • Experience of working in the education sector
  • Experience of developing and/or delivering teacher CPD
  • Understanding of the international education market
  • Previous experience with Canva, Learning Management Systems, video editing and/or web content management software
