Job Description

Senior Scrum Master

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Scrum Master in the United States.

This role is an opportunity to shape agile excellence across multiple development teams working on complex, enterprise-grade healthcare technology products. You will guide Scrum teams in adopting and continuously improving agile practices, with a strong focus on collaboration, transparency, and delivery effectiveness. Beyond a traditional Scrum Master function, this position extends into strategic influence across multi-team “pods,” helping align delivery at scale. You will act as a key facilitator between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of roadmaps and sprint commitments. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and experimentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching teams, removing impediments, and driving measurable delivery outcomes in a complex technical ecosystem.

Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and coach teams toward high-performing, self-organizing agile practices.
  • Guide multiple interdependent teams (“pods”) in aligning delivery, dependencies, and shared objectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments to ensure smooth and predictable delivery cycles.
  • Use agile metrics (velocity, capacity, predictability) to drive continuous improvement and inform planning decisions.
  • Support quarterly planning, release forecasting, and cross-team alignment activities.
  • Foster strong collaboration across engineering, product, and business stakeholders while maintaining healthy team dynamics.
  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to the evolution of agile best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile development teams in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and other agile frameworks, with the ability to apply them pragmatically across teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
  • Proven experience facilitating ceremonies, managing team dynamics, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of agile metrics, forecasting, and release planning techniques.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in product-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to support multiple teams simultaneously and operate effectively in scaled agile settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range from $93,200 to $147,000 depending on location and experience.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision for individuals and families.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off (20 days annually).
  • Equity opportunities and long-term incentive potential.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Wellness and lifestyle stipends, including gym and mobile phone support.
  • Continuing education and professional development support.
  • Participation in global offsites and team-building events.
