Job Description

Clinical Science Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Clinical Science Consultant based in United States.

This role is focused on advancing early, evidence-based identification of cardiac arrhythmias in primary care settings through high-impact clinical education and provider engagement. You will serve as a trusted clinical expert, helping primary care providers close diagnostic gaps and improve patient outcomes by promoting earlier and more accurate detection of cardiac conditions. The position combines clinical expertise, scientific communication, and field engagement to translate evolving evidence into practical tools and workflows. You will work closely with healthcare providers to improve the appropriate use of ambulatory cardiac monitoring and strengthen upstream diagnostic pathways. The role plays a critical part in reducing missed or delayed diagnoses while improving healthcare efficiency and system-wide outcomes. It is a highly mission-driven environment focused on innovation in digital cardiac care and population health impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Deliver non-promotional, evidence-based clinical education programs for primary care providers on cardiac arrhythmias and diagnostic pathways.
  • Translate current scientific literature into actionable clinical insights to support primary care decision-making.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with PCPs and serve as a clinical thought partner in disease state education.
  • Educate providers on arrhythmia risk factors, comorbidities, and challenges related to symptom overlap and diagnostic delays.
  • Promote optimal use of ambulatory cardiac monitoring (Holter vs. long-term continuous monitoring) based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
  • Support adoption of risk-based clinical tools and workflows to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient identification.
  • Highlight system inefficiencies caused by delayed diagnosis and promote earlier outpatient diagnostic interventions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned messaging.
  • Provide field insights to support research initiatives, publications, and educational strategy development.
  • Contribute to scalable education models that enhance provider engagement and clinical impact.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years, or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Active RN license or advanced clinical degree (MSN, DNP) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of clinical experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or primary care strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical education, provider engagement, medical affairs, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac arrhythmias, diagnostic workflows, and ambulatory monitoring technologies.
  • Experience educating or engaging primary care providers in a clinical or advisory capacity.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical evidence in a clear and practical manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based environment while collaborating cross-functionally.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation with an estimated annual salary range of 115,000 USD to 149,000 USD.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits and wellness support programs.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical science, digital health, and patient impact.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on improving cardiac care outcomes.
  • Professional development opportunities in clinical education and healthcare innovation.
  • Inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
