This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lab Informatics Project Manager based in India.
This role sits at the intersection of laboratory science, software implementation, and customer success, enabling scientific organizations to digitize and optimize their lab operations. You will act as a key technical bridge between customers and internal product teams, translating laboratory requirements into scalable informatics solutions. The position spans the full customer lifecycle, including pre-sales consulting, solution design, implementation, integration, and post-deployment support. You will work closely with laboratory stakeholders to configure and deploy LIMS/ELN solutions, ensuring they are tailored to real-world scientific workflows. The role requires strong problem-solving ability, technical fluency, and a customer-first mindset in a highly collaborative, global environment. You will also contribute to solution enhancements by feeding customer insights back into product development. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with project delivery in a scientific and data-driven domain.
- Support pre-sales activities by engaging with customers and sales teams to understand requirements, define scope, and recommend tailored laboratory informatics solutions.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations of LIMS/ELN platforms aligned with customer laboratory workflows and needs.
- Translate customer requirements into configured SLIMS/LIMS workflows, ensuring accurate mapping of scientific and operational processes.
- Configure, deploy, and customize laboratory informatics solutions, including building integrations, plugins, forms, and instrument connectivity.
- Lead and support end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and user training.
- Provide post-deployment support including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation handling to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop scripts and integrations for laboratory systems and in-silico tools within structured integration frameworks.
- Act as a customer advocate, capturing feedback and collaborating with R&D and product teams to influence future enhancements.
- Manage project coordination activities including planning, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in laboratory informatics, scientific software, or technical implementation roles.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS, ELN, or similar laboratory systems and workflows.
- Strong technical aptitude with programming or scripting skills such as Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into structured technical and functional solutions.
- Experience working in customer-facing roles with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical challenges simultaneously.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments, integrations, and scientific data workflows is highly desirable.
- Project management experience in software or scientific solution delivery is a plus.
