  • Deliver safety training and onboarding for all site personnel, ensuring proper use of PPE and awareness of hazard controls
  • Review subcontractor safety qualifications and participate in pre-construction and planning meetings to assess risk exposure
  • Lead incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and development of corrective action plans
  • Monitor ongoing construction activities to identify hazards and enforce safe work practices across all teams on site
  • Produce detailed safety reports, maintain documentation, and track compliance metrics and incident records
  • Foster a strong safety-first culture through continuous communication, coaching, and collaboration with project leadership
  • Ensure compliance with required certifications, regulatory standards, and contractual safety obligations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience on large-scale or infrastructure projects
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
  • Certifications including OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, CHST, EM385-1-1 40-Hour Safety Certification, and First Aid/CPR
  • Training and competency in key safety domains such as excavation, scaffolding, fall protection, confined space, and hazardous energy control
  • Strong experience conducting safety audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence field teams and leadership
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple safety priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general reporting/documentation tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites as required
  • Strong commitment to fostering a proactive and positive safety culture
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $92,000 to $134,000 depending on experience, certifications, and location
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plans with employer contributions
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave policies
  • Performance-based incentives or bonus eligibility depending on role structure
  • Professional certification support and ongoing safety training opportunities
  • Exposure to large-scale energy and infrastructure projects with long-term impact
  • Stable, full-time field-based role with strong career development potential
