We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team in Baytown, TX. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services, support patients with communication challenges, and assist in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Conduct speech therapy sessions following treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist in diagnosing and treating communication and language disorders.
• Implement therapy techniques for patients with speech, language, and articulation disorders.
• Provide support for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools and techniques.
• Prepare materials and documentation for therapy sessions and progress tracking.
• Communicate with patients and families about therapy strategies and home-based exercises.

Required:

• Licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Texas.
• Strong proficiency in implementing therapy strategies for communication and language disorders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse population.

Preferred:

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of assistive technology for communication.
• Experience in outpatient healthcare or rehabilitation settings.
