Job Description
The CAD Table Operator is responsible for independently operating CAD-driven cutting tables to produce high-quality packaging components with precision and efficiency. This position requires experience interpreting technical drawings, setting up equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate CAD-driven cutting tables to produce precision packaging components.
· Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and production specifications.
· Set up machines, select materials, and optimize machine settings for efficient production.
· Monitor production runs and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
· Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
· Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Accurately record production data, material usage, and machine performance.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Collaborate with design, production, and operations teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 2–5 years of experience operating CAD cutting tables or similar CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Experience interpreting CAD files, technical drawings, and production specifications.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
· Experience performing machine setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
· Proficiency with computers and manufacturing software; familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
