The Role
BitKernel is hiring a customer-facing Sales Engineer to support our LATAM sales team. This person will be paired directly with our Business Development team and will play a key role in technical discovery, product demonstrations, solution design, and customer education throughout the sales cycle.
The ideal candidate has strong technical fluency, excellent communication skills, and experience helping customers understand how SaaS, streaming, or digital media platforms solve real business problems.
Travel up to 15% may be required for customer meetings, conferences, and partner events.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with Business Development Managers throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead technical discovery calls with prospective customers across LATAM.
- Deliver clear, customer-facing product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s needs.
- Explain BitKernel’s platform capabilities, integrations, APIs, workflows, and technical requirements.
- Translate customer needs into clear internal requirements for Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Support technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and implementation planning.
- Respond to technical questions related to platform functionality, integrations, APIs, security, and scalability.
- Help create and maintain sales engineering materials, demo environments, API documentation, and technical enablement resources.
- Capture customer feedback and market insights to help improve product positioning and roadmap discussions.
- Represent BitKernel professionally in customer meetings, partner conversations, and industry events.
- 5-6+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Based in Mexico City
- Strong experience supporting B2B SaaS, media technology, streaming, or digital platform sales.
- Experience working directly with sales or business development teams.
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, SaaS platforms, and technical documentation.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience working with API documentation tools.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and ownership.
- OTT, streaming, media technology, or video platform experience.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, and integration workflows.
- Experience supporting customers across LATAM.
- Experience working with global or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with product demos, technical discovery, RFPs, RFIs, and customer onboarding processes.
