Senior Video Producer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Video Producer based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the video strategy and production for high-impact US entertainment coverage across long-form and short-form platforms.
You will shape programming around celebrities, Hollywood, film, television, streaming, pop culture, and major industry events.
The position combines editorial leadership, creative development, production management, and team mentorship.
You will develop original formats, interviews, podcasts, explainers, features, and breaking-news coverage that engage entertainment audiences.
Working closely with editorial, production, social, and audience teams, you will use data and audience insights to strengthen content performance.
You will also help build and develop a high-performing video team while maintaining strong standards for accuracy, quality, and storytelling.
This is a fast-paced opportunity for an experienced entertainment producer who thrives on ownership, creativity, and live industry moments.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the overall video strategy and execution for US entertainment coverage, including celebrities, Hollywood, pop culture, red carpet events, award shows, premieres, press junkets, and major industry news.
  • Develop daily and long-term video coverage plans around breaking news, major entertainment events, film and television releases, and industry developments.
  • Oversee the production of long-form and short-form editorial videos, ensuring content is accurate, timely, engaging, and aligned with editorial priorities.
  • Develop original video concepts, recurring shows, interview series, podcasts, explainers, commentary formats, and scalable programming concepts.
  • Identify compelling story angles and determine appropriate editorial approaches for breaking news, interviews, features, analysis, commentary, and developing stories.
  • Lead and mentor producers, writers, editors, researchers, and other video team members, supporting their professional development and performance.
  • Collaborate with anchors, hosts, correspondents, and production teams across different locations to plan and execute high-quality programming.
  • Identify, research, and book celebrities, actors, filmmakers, creators, publicists, industry experts, and other high-profile guests.
  • Coordinate interviews, press junkets, red carpet coverage, live reporting, premieres, festivals, conventions, award shows, and other major entertainment events.
  • Review scripts, edits, graphics, and final videos to maintain high editorial, storytelling, and production standards.
  • Partner with editorial, social media, audience development, design, and production teams to maximize content reach and audience impact.
  • Monitor video performance and audience analytics, using insights to refine programming, formats, and content strategy.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of video production talent.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams and ensure coverage remains aligned with editorial priorities and production schedules.
  • Take ownership of the overall quality, consistency, and performance of the entertainment video function.
  • Remain adaptable and responsive during breaking entertainment news, live events, premieres, award shows, and other time-sensitive industry moments.
Requirements
  • 4–5+ years of significant professional experience producing entertainment or celebrity video content for a digital, broadcast, television, or newsroom environment.
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, or leading video production teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the US entertainment industry, including Hollywood, celebrities, film, television, streaming, and pop culture.
  • Demonstrated experience producing both long-form and short-form editorial video content.
  • Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify compelling stories, angles, and formats that resonate with entertainment audiences.
  • Experience producing breaking news, interviews, explainers, commentary, features, podcasts, and major event coverage.
  • Experience identifying, pitching, and booking celebrities, publicists, industry experts, creators, and other high-profile guests.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating interviews, press junkets, red carpets, live reporting, premieres, festivals, or other special events.
  • Strong skills in script development, editorial planning, production management, and content execution.
  • Experience working with on-air talent, hosts, correspondents, interviewers, or presenters.
  • Strong understanding of audience analytics and the ability to translate performance data into actionable content improvements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to editorial accuracy, storytelling, and production quality.
  • Strong ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage multiple productions and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • A portfolio of relevant video work demonstrating significant involvement in entertainment programming, interviews, podcasts, press coverage, breaking news, or original productions is expected.
