What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:

  • Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered Individual Support Plan (ISP)
  • Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes
  • Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks
  • Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed
  • Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports
  • Administer or assist with medications as required
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services
  • Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to provide proof of education
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in human services, healthcare, direct care, or caregiving roles
Schedule
  • Full-Time opportunities available
  • Flexible scheduling based on program needs
  • Various shifts available throughout residential programs
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to assist individuals with activities of daily living
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during routine job duties
  • Ability to safely transport and accompany individuals in the community
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
