General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Advanced Program Performance Management (PPM / EVM) Analyst. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services on the Strategic Systems program. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) tool and scheduling software knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles
  • Experience with program contracts, planning, development, and production phases
  • Domain knowledge in engineering disciplines and program management processes

What you'll experience:

  • Develop and maintain time-phased cost and schedule baselines aligned to contract parameters
  • Analyze program performance (historical and predictive), monitor EAC and schedule completion dates, and deliver recommendations to program leadership
  • Identify and analyze critical paths and driving paths to key schedule milestones
  • Coordinate EAC, risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance as input into business financial commitments
  • Prepare and present accurate program review documents and customer-required deliverables
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

  • Experience interfacing with Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced program environment
  • Experience supporting proposal development, fact-finding, and negotiations
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across integrated program teams

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $96,000.00 - USD $103,500.00 /Yr.
