This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle HCM Cloud Solution Architect based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the functional architecture and delivery of complex Oracle HCM Cloud transformation initiatives.
You will translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable solutions that align technology capabilities with strategic HR objectives.
Working closely with executives, HR leaders, consultants, project managers, and technical teams, you will guide critical solution decisions from discovery through deployment.
You will lead workshops, oversee functional workstreams, and ensure implementations meet quality, scope, and sustainability expectations.
The role combines hands-on solution leadership with client advisory, team mentorship, and opportunities to support business development.
You will operate as a trusted advisor, helping organizations adopt leading practices while navigating complex business and technology requirements.
This is a remote-first U.S. position with up to 25% travel for client engagements.

Accountabilities
  • Lead functional solution architecture for Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, Oracle best practices, and approved project scope.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, discovery workshops, business process design sessions, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews with client stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions and assess cross-module dependencies and end-to-end business impacts.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for functional architecture questions and key solution design decisions.
  • Partner with technical teams on integrations, reporting, data conversion, and other technical requirements to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
  • Lead functional workstreams across design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Guide consultants and client teams through implementation activities while ensuring deliverables meet established quality and documentation standards.
  • Define and oversee testing strategies, review test scenarios and results, support defect resolution, and confirm deployment readiness.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify risks, manage dependencies, and maintain successful project execution.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders and HR leaders on solution direction, phasing, scope, organizational readiness, and long-term sustainability.
  • Support sales and business development through discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, proposals, estimates, statements of work, and implementation planning.
  • Mentor consultants and analysts, promote consistent delivery standards, and share lessons learned and Oracle HCM best practices across the broader practice.
  • Represent the organization as an Oracle HCM subject-matter expert in client briefings, industry forums, and thought leadership activities.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience, with functional expertise across multiple HCM modules.
  • Proven experience leading functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment for large-scale or complex enterprise HCM implementations.
  • Strong understanding of broad HR business processes and the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable functional solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, creating functional design strategies, and coordinating testing for technical integrations.
  • Experience with global, multi-country, or otherwise complex enterprise HCM deployments.
  • Experience leading teams or mentoring junior consultants, with a track record of improving delivery quality and developing other professionals.
  • Ability to independently manage priorities, drive outcomes with minimal supervision, and make sound architectural decisions within project constraints.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior executives and serve as a trusted advisor beyond the scope of an individual project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience with implementation strategy, prototyping, testing, training, and organizational change activities.
  • Preferred: Oracle HCM Cloud functional certifications across multiple modules.
  • Preferred: Client-facing advisory or presales experience, including solution demonstrations and collaboration with sales teams.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies and cross-module upstream/downstream impacts.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States up to 25% for client on-site requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not currently available.
Benefits

  • Annual incentive compensation potential of up to 20%, paid in quarterly installments.
  • Estimated total compensation range of $180,000–$210,000 USD.
  • Competitive healthcare benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Monthly reimbursement program supporting overall well-being.

  • Paid parental leave.
  • Family planning reimbursement program.
  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage options.
  • Employer Assistance Program.
