Dive Coach in at Immanuel Christian School

Immanuel Christian School is seeking a Dive Coach for the 2026–2027 Swim & Dive season. We are looking for a qualified and dependable coach who can provide instruction and support for our student-athletes participating in diving.

The Dive Coach will work under the leadership of the Swim & Dive Head Coach and collaborate closely with the coaching staff to support the overall goals and culture of the program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of diving fundamentals and safety and a desire to develop student-athletes in a positive, Christ-centered environment.

Primary Responsibilities

* Attend and lead scheduled diving practices throughout the season
* Provide instruction in diving fundamentals, technique, progression, and safety
* Work closely with the Swim & Dive Head Coach to coordinate practices, athlete development, and meet participation
* Be available to coach and support divers at scheduled meets and competitions
* Foster a positive environment that emphasizes growth, sportsmanship, teamwork, and accountability
* Support and encourage student-athletes in their athletic, personal, and spiritual development
* Communicate effectively with the Head Coach, student-athletes, parents, and Athletic Director as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diving experience and knowledge required; prior coaching experience preferred
* Strong understanding of proper diving technique, skill progression, and safety
* Ability to teach, encourage, and build meaningful relationships with student-athletes
* Dependable and available for scheduled practices and competitions
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Immanuel Christian School
