Who we want… (Requirements)


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a degree from a technical college and three to five (3-5) years of experience; or the equivalent combination both.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and integrate with existing team.
  • May require knowledge of applications specific to the project assigned.
  • The selected candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be physically present in a Gray office

Qualifications

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Knowledge of design trends, construction methods and materials applications.
  • Participate in material finish selections and finish schedule.
  • Assist in selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) within a project budget

  • Produce interior details for construction documents inclusive of specialty finish installation, specialty casework and specialty lighting.
  • Perform site survey, field measurements and documentation.
  • Create presentations and construction documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants and design-build subcontractors to convey design intent.
  • Assist in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
  • Base knowledge of appropriate use and application of finish materials.
  • Working knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), experience in selection and specification with commercial furniture preferred.
  • Assist in project coordination between project teams, customers, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
  • Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, functional, and conducive of customer goals and with project budget.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.
