Job Description
Own Odoo day to day: configuration, troubleshooting, training and support for the US, France and UK teams.
Close the remaining scopes: planning and timesheet rollout across the workshops, inventory management, payroll integration.
Manage the relationship with our external Odoo partners: scoping, prioritizing and tracking development against budget.
Build and maintain the dashboards and indicators each team and department is steered by.
Run analyses across project profitability, costing and pricing, productivity, inventory and lead times.
Turn the numbers into something usable: clear reporting and clear recommendations.
Help bring the quality framework built this year (RACI, process steps, quality milestones, checklists) from documentation into daily practice.
Work with department heads to identify inefficiencies and design the workflows that resolve them.
Document what gets built, so that it survives beyond any one person.
Support the ongoing reorganization into Client, Project, Design and Operations teams: tooling, documentation, follow-up and adoption.
Take on scoped projects across departments as business needs come up.
A real operating role in New York, not a support one, on a business going through its biggest transformation in years.
Direct and regular access to the General Manager.
Access to our external coach on operating methodology and management practice.
A budget for training and certification.
A full handover from the person currently in the role.
Engineering, operations management or business school background.
A first experience (minimum 1 year) in consulting, operations, continuous improvement or project management.
Comfortable with advanced spreadsheet work. Exposure to ERP systems, SQL or data visualization is a strong plus, Odoo especially.
Fluent French and English. Spanish is a plus.
Analytical and structured, comfortable with data and with detail.
Curious and autonomous: you go and find the answer rather than wait for it.
Able to talk to very different populations: craftsmen, designers, project managers, finance.
Rigorous about documentation and follow-through.
Genuinely interested in craftsmanship, design and the luxury sector.
Agile, and adaptable, with an open-minded attitude and a willingness to relocate to New York for 12 to 18 months.
