Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) is seeking a forward-thinking Clinical Innovation & Projects Manager to help drive the next generation of clinical and operational improvement across our organization.
For more than 25 years, Whole Family Health Center has served Florida's Treasure Coast through an integrated approach to healthcare, providing Adult & Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Complete Women's Health, and Pharmacy services.
In this highly collaborative role, you'll work across clinical operations, technology, executive leadership, vendors, and other partners to improve how we deliver care and operate as an organization.
What You'll DoAs the Clinical Innovation & Projects Manager, you'll turn organizational priorities into actionable plans and lead initiatives from idea to implementation to measurable results.
Clinical Innovation & Technology- Optimize Athena and other clinical applications to improve provider efficiency, patient access, documentation, scheduling, and care-team workflows.
- Lead or coordinate the implementation, testing, training, adoption, and optimization of new technology, including AI-enabled tools.
- Evaluate emerging healthcare technologies, artificial intelligence solutions, automation tools, and other digital solutions.
- Assess potential solutions for operational value, feasibility, integration requirements, cost, and expected return on investment (ROI).
- Partner with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to develop and optimize workflows and scheduling templates.
- Monitor technology adoption, effectiveness, and user feedback and help resolve identified issues.
- Lead initiatives designed to improve provider productivity, patient access, and staff efficiency.
- Map current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design more effective processes.
- Support improvements involving MA rooming, front-desk intake, scheduling, telehealth, documentation, encounter closure, and care-team delegation.
- Establish meaningful measures to determine whether workflow changes are producing the intended results.
- Lead strategic and operational projects from planning through implementation, measurement, and closeout.
- Develop project plans, milestones, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and success measures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, clinical practices, and external partners.
- Identify barriers, drive solutions, and escalate issues requiring executive-level decisions.
- Provide clear, concise project updates and recommendations to organizational leadership.
- Track key strategic initiatives, executive assignments, milestones, deadlines, and next steps.
- Coordinate training and implementation resources for new technology, workflows, and operational processes.
- Help teams successfully adopt and sustain new processes.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support effective change management.
- Use data, dashboards, feedback, and performance measures to evaluate results and identify opportunities for continued improvement.

We're looking for someone who can see both the big picture and the details—someone comfortable working with technology, analyzing workflows, managing projects, collaborating across departments, and keeping complex initiatives moving forward.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Health IT, Clinical Informatics, Public Health, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, clinical applications, workflow improvement, project management, healthcare technology, or related areas.
- Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience.
- Experience with workflow improvement, change management, training, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, provider operations, patient access, and care-team roles.
- Understanding of clinical informatics principles and their application to EHR optimization, workflow design, provider efficiency, patient access, or care-team processes.
- Strong project management, communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing or optimizing EHRs, clinical applications, AI-enabled tools, or healthcare technology.
- Athena experience.
- FQHC or community health center experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
