This is a hands-on endpoint management role focused on keeping Windows device fleets secure, healthy, and operational across demanding retail environments.
You will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, maintaining, and remediating Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices at scale.
The role combines Microsoft Intune administration, PowerShell automation, application deployment, patch management, and OS-level troubleshooting.
You will investigate complex deployment and communication issues and help ensure devices remain available for mission-critical business operations.

- Troubleshoot Windows patching and application deployment issues through Microsoft Intune.
- Diagnose device, application, and deployment failures using Windows Event Logs, Intune management logs, and other relevant diagnostic tools.
- Support and maintain Intune provisioning, device profiles, application management, configuration policies, and security policies.
- Implement and maintain Intune policies designed to configure, manage, and harden Windows endpoints.
- Support Adaptiva Patch and develop the expertise required to troubleshoot and maintain patching workflows using the platform.
- Investigate devices that are not communicating, patching, deploying, or functioning as expected and implement appropriate remediation.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for troubleshooting, automation, remediation, and operational efficiency.
- Support Windows OS deployment, patching, updating, and troubleshooting activities across the device fleet.
- Respond with urgency to device issues where downtime can directly affect critical retail operations.
- Collaborate with different support tiers and technical teams to resolve complex incidents and maintain effective operational handoffs.
- Clearly communicate technical findings, root causes, remediation steps, and status updates to a range of audiences.
- Take ownership of assigned issues from investigation through resolution while working effectively with limited supervision.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in endpoint management processes, automation, reliability, and operational support.
- Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 patching and application deployments using Microsoft Intune.
- Practical experience managing Intune provisioning, device profiles, configuration policies, security policies, and application deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system deployment, patch management, updates, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose application and deployment failures using Windows Event Logs, Intune management logs, and related Windows diagnostic tools.
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills, with experience using PowerShell for troubleshooting, automation, remediation, and administrative tasks.
- Ability and willingness to learn and support Adaptiva Patch.
- Experience working with device fleets in operationally critical or high-availability environments is highly valuable.
- Strong understanding of endpoint configuration and security hardening principles.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to issues that can impact business operations.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, resourcefulness, and accountability, with the ability to move forward independently when requirements or situations are ambiguous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, particularly when working across multiple support tiers and technical teams.
- Ability to work a shifted schedule providing U.S. overnight and early-morning business-startup coverage.
- Microsoft certifications related to Endpoint Management, Windows, or Microsoft 365 are a plus.
- Previous experience supporting retail device fleets is advantageous.
- Full-time remote position.
- Opportunity to work with modern endpoint management and cloud service technologies, including Microsoft Intune and PowerShell.
- Hands-on exposure to large-scale Windows device management, deployment, patching, security hardening, and automation.
- Opportunity to develop expertise in Adaptiva Patch and advanced endpoint troubleshooting.
- Mission-critical environment offering meaningful ownership and responsibility for device reliability.
- Opportunity to collaborate with experienced technical teams across multiple support tiers.
- Potential to expand Microsoft Endpoint Management and Microsoft 365 expertise through practical experience.
- Professional environment focused on operational reliability, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
