Kore Cares is hiring full-time caregivers in Pierre, SD. As a caregiver, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one support to elderly individuals and people with disabilities, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.
No previous caregiving experience? That's okay! Patient or client care experience is preferred but not required. We’re looking for dependable, compassionate people who genuinely enjoy helping others.

What You'll Do
As a Kore Cares caregiver, you'll help clients live their best lives in the place they call home.
Depending on each client's needs, you may:
- Help with bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers
- Support good skin care and encourage movement
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan
- Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and clean up the kitchen
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and socialization
- Provide transportation to appointments and outings
- Run errands such as grocery shopping and household shopping
- Maintain records of client condition and services provided
- Report changes in a client's condition to the agency office team
- Follow infection control and universal precaution practices
- Complete other duties outlined in the client's individualized care plan
These responsibilities are based directly on the caregiver position description, which emphasizes personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, housekeeping, meals, companionship, transportation, errands, and client documentation.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to have a long list of caregiving credentials to make a difference. We're looking for people who are dependable, compassionate, organized, and willing to learn.
Requirements:
- Patient or client care experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and treat clients and coworkers with dignity and respect
- Proof of eligibility for employment in the United States
