As Project Manager, you will oversee and optimize the workflows of a 2D Art team within a fast-paced mobile game development environment. You will manage planning, roadmaps, timelines, capacity, and delivery while ensuring creative work moves efficiently through the production pipeline. Beyond coordinating tasks, you will use data and analytics to uncover bottlenecks, identify risks, and improve team processes. You will become a key link between artists and cross-functional partners including producers, designers, developers, and marketing. You will also help build scalable processes and tracking systems that enable the team to consistently deliver high-quality art content on schedule.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and monitor project roadmaps, timelines, deadlines, and release plans.
  • Allocate work among artists based on workload, capacity, skills, and individual competencies.
  • Customize Jira extensively to support team workflows, including custom fields, workflows, statuses, filters, dashboards, and automations.
  • Structure, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify opportunities for improving production efficiency.
  • Consolidate information from multiple sources to create clear reports, performance metrics, and visual dashboards.
  • Proactively identify process issues, risks, blockers, and bottlenecks through data analysis and implement practical solutions.
  • Coordinate communication and dependencies between the Art team and producers, game designers, developers, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the quality of art assets and ensure deliverables align with references and established art brand guidelines.
  • Organize and facilitate planning sessions, retrospectives, status meetings, and other team ceremonies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, task trackers, art guidelines, reporting, and operational information across Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar tools.
  • Continuously improve workflows, resource allocation, and project tracking processes based on data and team needs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably supporting creative, design, or art teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with proven ability to structure, interpret, and work with large volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Grafana, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira, including workflow customization, dashboards, filters, automations, and custom fields.
  • Strong understanding of the 2D art production pipeline and creative team workflows.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • High level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to remain effective under pressure.
  • Fluent Russian.
  • Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
  • Experience in game development, animation, or digital production is a plus.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of advanced resource management tools is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of artistic disciplines is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Remote and office work options.
  • Career growth and professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate creative team.
  • Dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to process improvement and production efficiency.
  • Inclusive culture that values diversity and creativity.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging mobile game content.
  • Full-time employment.
