About the Role:

Job Title: Retail Sales Specialist
Division: Feed
Reports to: Raber Location Manager
Summary Responsible for contact with customers in the specified territory, assist with the daily duties and maintenance of margins. Establish customer relations through positive customer service and assists in developing a positive working environment.

Customer Service
Customers are the key to our success as a business. All customers should always be greeted with a friendly attitude and as quickly as possible by every employee. Phone calls should be answered promptly and courteously. Employees should make every effort to fill a customer’s needs while remembering that we must remain a profitable company. Product should never leave the premises without proper billing and loading procedures as set by the branch. Employees are responsible to supply correct products, accurate mixes, deliveries, etc. to each customer.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has limited supervisory responsibilities. Position is responsible to see that inventory is ordered, stored and handled within proper procedures. Position is also responsible to see that proper feed handling procedures are followed with authority to manage the situation.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
