ABOUT US:

Community Services Institute (CSI) was developed using a community outreach model as a response to the deinstitutionalization movement of the early 1980s. During this time, long-term psychiatric hospitals were replaced with community mental health services. CSI strives to offer outreach therapeutic services in a variety of settings, including home, community, schools, and now telehealth.

DESCRIPTION

The Bookkeeper oversees the clinic’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Responsible for CSI's overall financial health and ensuring all CSI departments are fiscally accountable and operate with the objective of a surplus at the close of each fiscal year.

This position is best suited for a detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven person.

· Oversee the flow of cash and financial assets.

· Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets across departments.

· Verify A/P paperwork to produce a check run and ensure accurate and timely payments.

· Review, allocate, and file all accounts payable paperwork related to vendor invoicing and credit memos. In accordance with GAPP standards.

· Work with the clinic's CPA to complete the annual audit and Uniform Financial Report.

· Reconcile and balance bank accounts.

· Any other tasks as the company may see fit.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.

· Solid understanding of QuickBooks and accounts payable/receivable principles.

· Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records.

· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Comfort with data manipulation and analysis.

· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.

· Proficiency in English and in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Work well with cross-functional teams.

· Calculate costs of materials, overhead, and other expenses, based on estimates, quotations, and price lists. Familiarity with building provider compensation models.

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
