Mid Systems Analyst in San Diego, California at Sellers & Associates

Sellers & Associates is seeking a Mid Systems Analyst to provide analytical, technical, and programmatic support for the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Training System Program Office (TSPO).

The Mid Systems Analyst will support Information Warfare (IW) systems training readiness by conducting systems analysis, developing and reviewing system training requirements and tasks, and supporting Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training (LVC-T) and afloat training events. In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to analyze technical and programmatic data, support training planning and scheduling, and coordinate with NAVWAR, Fleet, and training stakeholders. The position requires experience utilizing digital tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Assist with the planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, and closeout of IW LVC-T training events, including development of schedules, briefing materials, and supporting documentation.
• Support afloat training exercise coordination and scheduling.
• Develop and review system training requirements and tasks in support of IW systems training readiness.
• Research and analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop, recommend, and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
• Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing systems, and review system capabilities, workflows, and schedule limitations. Analyze and recommend solutions.
• Transform user requests or requirements into technical design specifications and serve as a liaison between various stakeholders.
• Provide specialized systems analytical support to Navy acquisition programs or related/comparable Department of Defense (DoD) organizations.
• Coordinate with NAVWAR, Fleet, program office, and training stakeholders in support of assigned programs and training events.

• Three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting Navy or DoD programs.
• Familiarity with Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training (LVC-T) and Navy training events is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) is highly desirable.
• Experience with training curriculum development or conducting training analyses is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Teams.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.
