Context of job:
The Huddell Agroecology Laboratory at the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences at University of Delaware is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Researcher. The goal of the position is to lead field and lab research projects focused on soil nutrient cycling, soil greenhouse gas emissions, and soil health. The Postdoctoral Researcher will lead field experiments, contribute to other projects in the lab, and has the opportunity to shape the specific research objectives of the project.
The initial appointment is for one year and may be extended based on satisfactory performance and available funding.
Major responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include conducting agricultural field experiments, conducting laboratory analyses, analyzing data, and preparing peer-reviewed publications on the findings.
Qualifications:
  • A PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline such as ecology, soil science, or agronomy.
