Associate - Deal Desk (Night Shift)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate - Deal Desk (Night Shift) based in India.

This role sits within a fast-paced Sales Strategy & Operations environment and provides critical support across the full quote-to-cash lifecycle. You will partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to structure, review, approve, and execute commercial deals efficiently. The position combines analytical problem-solving, process management, commercial judgment, and strong stakeholder collaboration. You will help ensure that deals meet pricing, contractual, revenue, legal, and compliance requirements while supporting sales productivity. The role also offers opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting across the sales organization. This is a remote position for candidates based in Mumbai, working a 7 PM to 4 AM night shift.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales teams on deal policies, including pricing, contract terms, product configurations, approval requirements, and compliance considerations.
  • Support the complete customer lifecycle, from lead and quote creation through contracting, ordering, booking, renewals, cross-sells, and up-sells.
  • Monitor and manage the Deal Desk queue, prioritizing requests, meeting service-level expectations, and ensuring high-quality responses despite fluctuating volumes.
  • Coordinate deals through internal approval processes by partnering with Sales Leadership, Legal, Accounting, Billing, Product, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Review deal structures and documentation to identify risks, policy gaps, or compliance issues and help ensure transactions progress smoothly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales policies, processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency, compliance, and sales productivity.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives designed to simplify and optimize Sales Operations processes.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce reports, sales dashboards, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Help establish strong cross-functional relationships and communicate complex commercial concepts clearly to stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex requests and identify practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, confidently, and credibly.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and familiarity with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems; experience with Zuora is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, Product, and leadership teams to move deals forward efficiently.
  • Strong ownership mindset, commercial awareness, and willingness to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Availability to work the 7 PM to 4 AM IST night shift.
  • Ability to work remotely while being based in Mumbai, India.
