This role offers the opportunity to guide Agile delivery for a large-scale government technology project supporting critical public-sector initiatives.
You will facilitate Scrum practices, strengthen collaboration, and help cross-functional software development teams consistently achieve their goals.
Working within a CI/CD environment, you will remove impediments and promote efficient, transparent, and high-quality delivery practices.
You will partner closely with Product Management, senior client leadership, and business stakeholders to align priorities and improve processes.
The role combines hands-on Agile facilitation with coaching, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
You will help teams become more self-organizing, collaborative, and effective while championing Agile principles and quality practices.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven environment while working with modern Agile methodologies and tools.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, and PI Planning.
  • Build strong relationships across highly cross-functional Agile software development teams to foster collaboration, transparency, innovation, and effective delivery within CI/CD environments.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and remove impediments that could affect team progress or project outcomes.
  • Support the Product Manager with backlog management, ensuring work items are clearly defined, appropriately prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion Agile values, quality practices, and continuous improvement while coaching team members on effective processes and best practices.
  • Coordinate across organizations and work closely with senior client leadership and business stakeholders to promote process standardization and delivery improvements.
  • Guide development teams toward greater self-organization, cross-functionality, accountability, and adoption of Agile principles.
  • Facilitate healthy communication between development teams, Product Management, and stakeholders while mediating conflicts and resolving delivery issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team and organizational processes and implement Agile best practices that enhance performance.
  • Facilitate senior-level briefings and capture clear, actionable outcomes from meetings, stakeholder requests, and project discussions.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and overall project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting large-scale software development, data management, and system integration initiatives.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and related delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • SAFe, Agile, or Scrum certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other government agencies is an advantage.
  • Ability to obtain the required government clearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and brief senior leadership effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable outcomes.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and federal holidays.
  • Corporate laptop provided.
  • Training and professional development opportunities.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • 100% remote work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale government technology project with meaningful public-sector impact.
