Service Technician in Omaha, Nebraska at YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT CO

Your Home Improvement Company is looking for an Experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will handle warranty service calls, product inspections, and repairs related to our residential remodeling projects including windows, bathroom remodels, and kitchen refacing systems.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on construction or remodeling experience who takes pride in quality work and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform service repairs and warranty work on installed home improvement products
• Diagnose issues and develop repair solutions
• Complete repairs related to windows, bath systems, and kitchen refacing
• Maintain positive relationships with homeowners while providing professional service
• Document service work using company apps and systems (training provided)
• Communicate clearly with the service management team
• Assist with service scheduling and follow-up tasks
• Identify additional home improvement opportunities when appropriate

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, remodeling, or home improvement service work
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Basic computer or mobile app proficiency
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Must pass a background check

Preferred Experience

• Residential remodeling
• Window installation or repair
• Bathroom remodeling or bath system installation
• Kitchen cabinet refacing
• Warranty service work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and climb ladders
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Ability to drive between service locations

Tools

• Technicians should have basic personal hand tools
• Power tools and specialty tools are provided
