Job Description
Fire it up. Lead the way.
Marlow's is built on two things: a seasonal menu that turns heads, and hospitality that keeps guests coming back. Our Chef de Cuisine owns both — setting the standard in the kitchen every single day and bringing out the best in the people around them.
This is a real leadership role in a company that takes culinary seriously. We don't just say we invest in our people — 16 of our current chefs were promoted from within, and our General Managers have been with us an average of 11.25 years. If you want somewhere to grow, this is it.
What you'll do:
• Lead and develop the BOH team
• Set the pace and tone for daily kitchen operations — from prep through service
• Drive culinary standards on a seasonally-driven, scratch kitchen menu
• Mentor and develop cooks at every level, creating a path forward for your team
• Partner with FOH leadership to deliver the Marlow's guest experience consistently
• Manage food cost, ordering, and BOH systems with ownership and accountability
• Uphold food safety and quality standards across every shift
What you'll get:
• $65,000 – $75,000 annual salary based on experience
• Bonus plan based on performance
• Paid time off + flexible scheduling
• Medical and dental insurance available
• Dining discounts across the brand
• Genuine growth path — we promote from within
• Collaborative culture with an ethical work environment
• Stable leadership — long-tenured GM and ops team
What you'll need:
• 2+ years of culinary experience, with a background in kitchen leadership
• A background in scratch cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Genuine passion for developing people — not just executing food
• Strong BOH management skills: scheduling, cost control, ordering, and team accountability
• A collaborative, solutions-first attitude — ego optional, standards non-negotiable
• Authorization to work in the United States
