This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Network Ops Specialist based in India.
This is a full-time hybrid opportunity focused on optimizing supply chain networks, sourcing strategies, and product flows across a complex international operation.
You will lead network optimization initiatives that balance cost, service, capacity, inventory, and supply continuity.
The role works closely with planning, procurement, manufacturing, operations, finance, marketing, and new product introduction teams.
You will own the Network Optimization roadmap and translate strategic priorities into practical sourcing and manufacturing decisions.
The position combines analytical problem-solving, commercial judgment, project management, and stakeholder influence.
You will use SAP, advanced data analysis, and network optimization tools to identify opportunities and support business-critical decisions.
This is an influential role for an experienced supply chain professional who can operate independently and deliver results in a fast-changing environment.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain network optimization, continuously assessing the network for opportunities to improve cost, service, capacity, inventory, and operational performance.
- Evaluate sourcing alternatives and lead make-versus-buy assessments, providing recommendations that balance commercial value and supply continuity.
- Support new product introductions by defining sourcing locations, manufacturing strategies, and product flows across the network.
- Own and maintain the Network Optimization roadmap, ensuring alignment with portfolio changes, new product initiatives, and broader supply chain transformation priorities.
- Lead supply chain activities for network optimization projects, including implementation plans, manufacturing and sourcing decisions, risk assessments, mitigation actions, and inventory impact projections.
- Manage rough-cut capacity requirements planning (RCCP) and long-range planning beyond six months to identify capacity constraints, sourcing opportunities, and potential capital investment needs.
- Collaborate with costing and finance teams to assess the financial implications and value potential of different network scenarios.
- Work across multiple sites, functions, and geographies to ensure information required for new product and supply chain processes is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Provide manufacturing and distribution feasibility inputs for tenders and new business opportunities, helping develop sourcing options that balance cost and customer service.
- Partner with global network optimization, new product introduction, and planning teams to prioritize tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with planning teams to ensure network optimization solutions are compatible with supply planning and operational requirements.
- Engage marketing, technology, regional, and business stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment on sourcing and network decisions.
- Track project delivery, post-project outcomes, annualized savings or value delivered, sourcing recommendation completion, inventory impacts, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify and implement product sourcing opportunities in line with established decision-making frameworks and governance requirements.
- Provide continuity and backup support across the network optimization team while contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Master's degree or equivalent professional experience, with approximately 8–12 years of experience in product planning, supply chain, network optimization, or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain network optimization and lifecycle management, with a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, manufacturing, product planning, logistics, supply planning, or related commercial operations.
- Expert-level experience with ERP/SAP systems and other relevant digital tools, with advanced proficiency in Excel and business reporting applications.
- Knowledge of supply chain network optimization platforms such as Optilogic Cosmic Frog or comparable solutions is preferred.
- Experience with project management and the ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Strong financial analysis and commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate cost, service, inventory, and value implications of different scenarios.
- Broad business understanding across areas such as operations, marketing, sales, strategy, finance, and customer-facing functions is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to influence collaborators and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to deliver results with minimal supervision and take ownership of complex decisions and initiatives.
- Strong agenda management, planning, coordination, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Understanding of relevant health, safety, security, environmental, and compliance principles and expectations.

- Willingness to work within the specified India-based shift schedule: 11:30 AM–8:30 PM IST from April to September and 12:30 PM–9:30 PM IST from October to March.
