This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enrollment Counselor - Global Online Enrollment based in the United States.

This is a full-time enrollment and admissions opportunity focused on helping adult and graduate students navigate their journey toward online higher education. You will combine consultative counseling, relationship building, and sales expertise to guide prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment. The role involves significant phone engagement, proactive follow-up, and personalized conversations designed to understand each student's goals and recommend appropriate programs. You will work toward measurable monthly enrollment targets while maintaining a strong student-centered approach. Success requires confidence in a fast-paced call center environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating with a broader team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students pursue education aligned with their personal, professional, and values-driven goals.

Accountabilities:
  • Guide prospective adult and graduate students through the admissions and enrollment process using consultative counseling, relationship-building, and effective sales techniques.
  • Conduct frequent inbound and outbound phone calls and follow-up communications with prospective students and, when appropriate, their family members.
  • Understand prospective students' educational goals, needs, and circumstances and clearly communicate how available programs can support their objectives.
  • Explain program offerings, admissions requirements, educational pathways, and the value of pursuing online higher education.
  • Build trust with prospective students through personalized, responsive, and professional communication throughout the enrollment journey.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly enrollment goals by applying proven recruitment, tele-sales, and closing techniques.
  • Monitor enrollment activity and individual performance against established goals, proactively adjusting strategies to improve results.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, tasks, and prospect interactions within CRM and admissions systems.
  • Provide daily and weekly activity reporting to leadership, including recruiting and enrollment performance metrics.
  • Collaborate effectively with admissions, academic, and other university teams to support the enrollment, retention, and service of online adult and graduate students.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment while independently managing priorities, deadlines, and assigned prospects.
  • Represent the institution's educational mission and values professionally throughout interactions with prospective students.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in college or university admissions, sales, public relations, corporate development, marketing, or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to achieve enrollment, sales, or other performance-based goals using structured and effective engagement techniques.
  • Previous inbound or outbound telesales, call center, admissions, or recruitment experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and build strong relationships over the phone.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple prospects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and using consultative selling and closing techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Familiarity with admissions software, CRM platforms, or contact management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work the required schedule of 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Mountain Time, plus a Saturday shift on a six-week rotation.
  • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity, responsiveness, and engagement.
  • Must reside and work legally within the United States, as all work must be performed within the country.
  • Ability to remain focused while conducting phone conversations and computer-based work for extended periods, with occasional evening or weekend work as required.

Benefits:

  • Starting pay of $22.28 per hour, with compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and organizational considerations.
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits.
  • Tuition waiver program.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Matching 403(b) retirement plan.
  • Additional employer-paid benefits and voluntary benefit options.
  • Full-time remote work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to support adult and graduate students in pursuing their educational and professional goals.
  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities to contribute to student enrollment, retention, and service initiatives.
