Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer - Angular / .NET based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to work on an established, live recruitment platform used daily by organizations and candidates.
You will play a central role in modernizing a frontend that is progressively transitioning from AngularJS to Angular 21.
The position is frontend-focused, while also requiring solid .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC capabilities to contribute across the wider platform.
You will build new functionality, modernize existing components, and help maintain performance and stability throughout the migration.
Working within a structured engineering environment, you will collaborate through sprints, code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and a monorepo architecture.
The role suits a self-directed developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving existing systems, and adopting modern frontend practices.
It is a long-term remote opportunity where ownership, continuous learning, communication, and sustainable engineering practices are highly valued.
- Maintain and support the existing AngularJS codebase while it continues to operate in production.
- Progressively translate AngularJS components and functionality into Angular 21 while protecting existing production stability.
- Build new Angular 21 features using standalone components, signals, OnPush strategies, and appropriate architectural boundaries within an Nx monorepo.
- Convert business requirements into well-defined technical work, breaking features into deliverable tasks and providing realistic estimates.
- Identify technical issues, risks, dependencies, and blockers early and communicate them proactively.
- Work within sprint-based delivery processes and maintain accurate ticket and progress information for team visibility.
- Participate in pull request reviews and incorporate feedback into your own development work.
- Stay current with Angular developments and assess which new capabilities could meaningfully improve the platform.
- Contribute to the broader frontend migration strategy, with particular attention to performance, staged delivery, maintainability, and production reliability.
- Support the wider application through .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC development as required.
- Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS, including the ability to confidently understand, maintain, and progressively rewrite an existing live application.
- At least 2 years of experience building and delivering Angular applications, specifically with Angular 20 or later.
- Strong TypeScript development skills and modern Angular expertise.
- Practical knowledge of standalone components, Angular signals, modern control flow syntax, and RxJS where appropriate.
- Professional experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience using Git and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and take ownership without constant supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed engineering environment.
- Experience migrating legacy frontend applications to modern frameworks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Nx monorepos, PrimeNG, Angular Material, and Vitest is a plus.
- Additional experience with C#, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, IIS, or Windows Server is advantageous.
- Exposure to Bitbucket, JIRA, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy is beneficial.
- A strong focus on code quality, maintainability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Fully remote, full-time position available across India, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
- Fixed working hours: 12:00 PM–9:30 PM IST during summer and 1:00 PM–10:30 PM IST during winter.
- No weekend work, supporting a sustainable work-life balance.
- Laptop provided from Day 1.
- Full medical insurance provided from the start of employment.
- Mentorship and access to professional communities and knowledge-sharing forums.
- A collaborative environment where ideas, feedback, and technical contributions are encouraged.
- Long-term career opportunity with an emphasis on professional growth and meaningful contribution.
