Description
Join Hansen Corporation, an ElectroCraft Company, as a Material Handler and be an integral part of our operations, crafting precision synchronous motors for our customers. The Material Handler involves loading, unloading and moving parts, supplies, material, assemblies etc. within departments and between various plant locations. This position also treats fabricated parts to prepare them for assembly. We build high-performance motors that powers various products from HVAC systems to medical equipment to farm equipment and more!

Hansen Corporation, an ElectroCraft company specializes in synchron motor and DC motor production as part of the ElectroCraft family of motion control products that provide dependable, application-engineered fractional-horsepower motors and motion control products.
Essential Functions

1. Operate cleaning and various deburring machines.
2. Operate hand hydraulic lift and forklift.
3. Perform simple clerical functions such as completing material movement tickets and scrap cards.
4. May be required to assist in simple machine setups and adjustments and perform other duties as required.
5. Have math/computation skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment may be very loud depending on the area you are working in.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds, and regularly lift and move up to 50+ pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) include safety shoes and may include hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, aprons, and hard hat.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are as follows but may vary slightly on occasion:
1st Shift
Monday through Friday 6:30am – 4:00pm.
Friday 6:30 am – 10:30 am.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
