This role is centered on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of large-scale Oracle Utilities implementations, with a focus on Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) systems. You will lead end-to-end testing efforts across functional, integration, regression, and performance domains while collaborating closely with clients and implementation teams. The position requires a strong mix of hands-on testing expertise and leadership capability, guiding test strategy while coordinating distributed teams across geographies. You will play a key role in shaping test coverage, improving automation frameworks, and ensuring systems meet both technical and business requirements. The environment is highly collaborative, client-facing, and delivery-driven, with significant exposure to enterprise utility transformation programs. This is a role for someone who thrives in complex system landscapes and enjoys driving quality across mission-critical applications.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and oversee all testing activities including functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing for enterprise applications.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases aligned with business requirements and system design.
  • Define and maintain traceability metrics to ensure full coverage of requirements throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and implementation teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with automation engineers to design, execute, and maintain automated test suites and regression frameworks.
  • Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users and ensuring readiness of systems for validation.
  • Manage test environments and coordinate usage across multiple teams to ensure efficient testing execution.
  • Create and report testing metrics, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing within consulting, implementation, or product development environments.
  • Strong experience in functional testing and test automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ALM.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries and understand database fundamentals.
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience working across distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting for complex enterprise systems.
  • Exposure to Oracle Utilities applications (CC&B, CIS, MDM) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, or PL/SQL is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and industry standards.
  • Full-time remote flexibility with occasional travel requirements (up to 80%).
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale Oracle Utilities transformation programs.
  • Exposure to enterprise-grade systems within the energy and utilities sector.
  • Collaborative, client-facing role with strong cross-functional engagement.
  • Career growth opportunities in test leadership and enterprise QA strategy.
  • Access to modern testing tools, automation frameworks, and Agile delivery environments.
