Description:
The Business Development Manager drives commercial growth by identifying new markets, acquiring high-value accounts, and managing the sales cycle for cryogenic liquid nitrogen and related services. They bridge client needs with technical operations to deliver value across industries like manufacturing, aerospace, and life sciences.Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth & Lead Generation: Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial accounts for liquid nitrogen supply and on-site cryogenic services.
- Technical Consultation: Collaborate with internal engineering and operations to design tailored cryogenic solutions. Advise clients on equipment sizing, storage, and safe handling.
- Account Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., plant managers, lab directors) to ensure client retention and upselling.
- Contract Negotiations: Draft, review, and negotiate pricing, SLAs, and supply agreements in compliance with corporate and legal guidelines.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, industry pricing trends, and emerging cryogenic applications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within industrial gases, cryogenics, or related process equipment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Cryogenics, or a related technical/scientific field.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryogenic safety standards, storage tanks (dewars/microbulk), and supply chain logistics.
- Skills: Superior commercial negotiation, technical problem-solving, and high-level presentation skills.
- Tools: Proficiency with Salesforce.com, SAP, or other leading CRM platforms.
