Job Description

Job Title: Protestant Religious Education Coordinator
Location: Osan Air Base Chapel, Republic of Korea
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Up to 48 hours per month, generally not exceeding 12 hours per week. Some evenings, weekends, and seasonal support may be required based on program activities.

Job Summary:
The Protestant Religious Education Coordinator provides administrative and program coordination support for Protestant religious education activities at the Chapel. This position is responsible for organizing schedules, supporting volunteers, maintaining program records, coordinating educational resources, and helping ensure religious education programs for children, youth, adults, and families are conducted efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support Protestant religious education programs and special events.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules and activity calendars.
  • Organize volunteer assignments and maintain volunteer records.
  • Maintain attendance records, program files, and administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate curriculum materials, classroom resources, and supply inventories.
  • Prepare announcements, flyers, and other communication materials.
  • Assist with planning for seasonal programs, Bible studies, Children's Church, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.
  • Prepare and submit routine activity and administrative reports.
  • Communicate effectively with Chapel leadership, volunteers, instructors, parents, and participants.
  • Maintain organized program records while supporting the overall continuity of religious education activities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum one (1) year of administrative or program coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience supporting church, educational, youth, or volunteer programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Protestant religious education or church ministry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work professionally with children, youth, adults, volunteers, and Chapel staff.
  • Must successfully complete any required background screening before working with minors.
