Injection Mold Operator in Clinton Township, Michigan at Scout HR Services

We are seeking Plastic Injection Operators for a premier manufacturing facility in Clinton Township.

Pay: $15-$18 based off experience (tiers based off resume experience)

Shift: Monday- Friday

1st shift: 7am -3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:15pm -12am (weekend availability when needed)

Job Summary:
The job duties of an injection molding operator include working to set up and operate machines that shape plastic or other materials through a process called injection molding. Your responsibilities involve working in a manufacturing setting and preparing your machine for each production run.

Responsibilities:
·Utilizes numerically controlled injection molding machine equipment to perform injection molding operations on various types of plastic resin materials.

· Determine colors of job parts.

· Apply basic math and computer skills.

· Operate injection molding machine is a safe and efficient manner.

· Works from and in accordance with job specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions. Follow detailed instructions and specification for each job order. Be accountable for all job parts you produce.

· Identify when parts are not produced properly or when machines are not running properly and alert your supervisor.

· Maintain accurate production and scrap records.

· Count, package, and label shipment boxes as directed in the job order work instructions.

· Use scales for counting parts and weighing boxes to ship.

· Work effectively and respectfully with all co-workers and departments.

· Responsible for maintaining an organized and clean work area.

· Wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses) and follow company safety policy and procedures.

· Follow instructions and take directions from supervisor and process technicians when needed.

· Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to the department’s attendance policy.

· Job may occasionally require use of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon job specification.

· Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, and techniques.

· Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations.

· Other tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
